Man is not a bird is a post-rock / math-rock band formed in 2012 in Paris, France. They are influenced by bands like And So I Watch You From Afar, and Explosions In The Sky. Their riffs aremelodic, ear-catching, and lively. Their music blends powerful moments with more ambient progressions.

After having recorded their first EP, "Restlessness", in 2012, and contributed to a split CD in 2013, Man is not a bird has spent the last few months working on their first album.

Their first music video, "The Sounds Of Spring" (released on a split CD, in 2013), was developed voluntarily by a team of professionals who love the song, and showed great interest to collaborate on that project. The members of Man is not a bird are proud and honoured to be surrounded by exceptional people that are willing to invest their energy in the band. The idea of crowdfunding their first album came from that positive energy.

« Because we spent most of our time living in the city, we dream of a more natural world. Our wish is to transport our audience thanks to our music, so that they can evade the noise and stress of the city. We apply the DIY philosophy by crafting our own artwork (CD boxes...) and preventing negative thinking in general. »
